| | | Although everything Crowpath has done seems to be a stepping stone towards their shockingly excellent "Son Of Sulphur" disk, their first full-length release, "Red On Chrome", is still an amazing, if not terrifying, listen. Extreme Grindcore doesn't come much better or wilder than this band, especially in Scandinavia, where Crowpath stand stalwartly aligned with Meshuggah against a horde of overtly prodigal and Norse-laden Black Metal groups. Theirs is not a silly wrath of gods, but a skull-gnashing musical onslaught, aesthetically tantamount to a dull guillotine blade gone horribly off the mark, deviously apologizing for the misgiving in the name of art. That being said, it is recommended that you start with "Son Of Sulphur", and then go back to this.
